Importing Your Data
Bring your existing reservations and guest data to TableYeah
Updated Feb 8, 2026
Switching from another reservation platform? We make it easy. Our team will import your reservations, guest profiles, and CRM data for free so everything is ready on day one.
Tip
Most imports are completed within 24 hours. Just export your data and email it to us — we handle the rest.
What Can You Import?
- Reservations & booking history — past and future bookings with dates, times, party sizes, and table assignments
- Guest profiles & CRM data — names, phone numbers, emails, and contact information
- Tags & preferences — dietary restrictions, occasions, VIP status, and custom tags
- Visit history & lifetime spend — total visits, spending data, and loyalty information
- Notes & special requests — staff notes, guest notes, and booking-specific details
How It Works
Export your data from your current platform as a CSV file. See the platform-specific instructions below for step-by-step guidance.
Email the files to imports@tableyeah.com. Include your restaurant name and any details about your go-live date.
We validate and import your data. Our team reviews the files, maps the data to your TableYeah account, and handles any formatting issues.
Review the results in your admin dashboard. Verify that reservations and guest profiles look correct, and add any bookings made between your export and go-live.
Info
For the smoothest transition, send your export files at least 24 hours before your desired go-live date. Files larger than 4 MB may require additional processing time.
Exporting From Your Current Platform
From OpenTable
Go to guestcenter.opentable.com and log in.
From the Admin section, go to Reporting, then Reservations.
Click the Visit Date dropdown. Use the arrows to navigate to and select your desired date in the past.
Then, use the arrows to navigate to the future and select the date of your last existing reservation in OpenTable.
Click the Details dropdown. Check Select All, then Apply.
Select Export. You'll receive an email with a link to download the file.
Download the file and email it to imports@tableyeah.com.
From Resy
Contact Resy to request your guest and reservation data.
The data Resy sends will be encrypted. To decrypt it:
- Click into the files and select Open in Browser
- Enter the email address you use for your Resy account
- A security code will be sent via email — enter it and select proceed
- An in-browser version of Excel will open with a pop-up labeled Choose CSV options
- Select Unicode (UTF-8) for encoding and Comma for delimiter
Select all data by clicking the square button in the upper-left corner of the spreadsheet. Click Format and select auto-fit column width.
Right-click and Copy. Create a new sheet in Excel or Google Sheets, highlight cell A1, and Paste.
Save the document as "YourRestaurant Reservations" or "YourRestaurant Guestbook".
Email the files to imports@tableyeah.com.
From Yelp
Contact Yelp to request your guest and reservation data.
Once received, check the reservation file to ensure times are in the correct timezone. Yelp sometimes provides files in the wrong timezone.
Important: Do not modify the file. When closing, select Don't Save when prompted. This prevents unintended changes to the data.
If incorrect data was sent, request corrected data from Yelp before sending it to our team.
Email the files to imports@tableyeah.com.
Warning
Yelp gives guests the option to not share their contact information. Some reservations in the files they provide will contain the date, time, and party size but not the guest's contact information. We recommend taking a screenshot or printing your future reservations so you can fill in details for any redacted guests.
From Tock
Log in to your Tock dashboard and select your restaurant.
Navigate to the Operations tab.
For reservations: select Reservations on the left, choose your date range, and click the download/export icon to save as CSV.
For guest data: select Guests on the left, choose your date range, and click the download/export icon.
Repeat for all desired date ranges — Tock exports in weekly increments, so you may need to download multiple files.
Email all files to imports@tableyeah.com.
From Other Systems
Contact your current provider and request the following:
Guest file in .csv format:
- First names, last names, phone numbers, and emails
- Guest notes, tags, and any additional guest visit information
Reservation file in .csv format:
- First names, last names, phone numbers, and emails
- Dates, times, party sizes, table numbers
- Reservation notes and tags, including notes guests entered themselves
Email the files to imports@tableyeah.com.
After Your Import
Once the import is complete:
- Review your data in the admin dashboard — check that reservations and guest profiles look correct
- Add any new reservations that were made between your export and go-live date
- Disable online reservations on your previous platform to prevent double-bookings
- Share your new booking link with guests and update your website
