Host special events like wine dinners, prix fixe menus, cooking classes, and more. TableYeah handles ticketing, payments, and guest management.
Event Types
TableYeah supports various event formats:
- Ticketed events: Guests purchase tickets in advance (full payment at booking)
- RSVP events: Free events with registration (no payment required)
- Deposit events: Require a deposit, pay remainder on arrival
Creating an Event
Go to Events in the admin sidebar
Click New Event
Fill in event details:
- Event name and description
- Date and time
- Duration
- Capacity
Set pricing:
- Price per person
- Payment type (prepay, deposit, or free)
Add event images
Publish your event
Info
Events appear on your public page at your-restaurant.app.tableyeah.com/reservations/[event-slug]
Payment Options
Prepaid Events
Guests pay the full amount when booking. Best for:
- Limited-capacity events
- Events with significant food costs
- Multi-course dinners
Deposit Events
Guests pay a deposit upfront, with the remainder due at the restaurant. Best for:
- Regular dining with guaranteed seating
- Events where final cost may vary
Free Events
No payment required. Guests simply RSVP. Best for:
- Community events
- Promotional events
- VIP gatherings
Managing Attendees
Track who's coming to your event:
- View the guest list
- Export attendee information
- Send updates to all attendees
- Handle cancellations and refunds
Tip
Use the event description to clearly communicate what's included in the ticket price.
Stripe Connect
To accept payments for events, you'll need to connect your Stripe account.
- Go to Settings → Billing
- Click Connect Stripe Account
- Follow the Stripe onboarding process
- Once connected, you can accept payments
